OPEN STUDIO:

Available any time we are open to the public.  A Donation or Membership is required for use of the supplies, and tools.  Just want to come in and have a cup of coffee, read a book, work on homework, no need to pay.

You decide if your “using” the space.

Most everything in MAXtivity is available to use, to create with, during open studio time, unless it is otherwise marked.  Some purchased new items or Donations of high value may be marked for sale, if so, this is for the purpose of raising money to support the mission of MAXtivity.

All sales are final unless you purchase something new in a package and you have a receipt.  No returns after 30 days.

CONSIGNMENT:

There may be art or crafts, made by artists in our community, for sale.  These are set up as consignment and the maker has signed a contract with Maxtivity to include part of the sale of the item as a donation to the organization.  Please honor the hard work of these community members and gladly purchase beautiful wear to support them and the non-profit.

CLASSES:

Pre-registration is a must for all classes  

If you sign up at the last min or walk in the door there is no guarantee the class will be happening.  We reserve the right to change times, dates, age restrictions and classes as needed. If a class is changed, altered or cancelled, registered students will be notified immediately with options for reimbursement or enrolling in a different class or obtaining credit.

Once established, if you would like a reimbursement (outside of same-day transactions)  this will be refunded by check. Please allow one week for the check to be mailed.

In the case of cancellations anytime before 48 hours, of the class, you will receive a full refund.  If you notify us between 48 hours and 6 hours prior to the class you will get 50% of registration back.  Less than 6 hours, no refund. No shows, no refund or credit.

Classes requiring a registration fee, to hold a seat, that are left unpaid prior to the class, may be filled, if the seat is needed by a paying student.  Any classes missed during a workshop series are forfeited.

Due to wanting to spend time with our families and get home, we ask that parents return to pick their kids promptly when class is over. Please be sure an emergency medical form is on file with the front desk. Only classes for students under the age of 6 are designed with a parent and are thus encouraged to attend.

PARTIES & PRIVATE LESSONS:

All parties are required to put a $50-$100 non-refundable deposit to hold the date - This deposit is applied toward the party/lesson total.  Parties can have a maximum of 24 participants. Parties that have not paid the deposit are liable to lose their reservation if someone else requests that date.  Parties cancelled 7 days+ prior to party date can reschedule once without another deposit. Parties cancelled after 7 days or less prior to party date forfeit all deposit.

There are circumstances that show up in life in which grace will be extended, please let us know if such is the case.  

Food & Drinks:

Drinks & snacks are encouraged, we all get hungry.  All beverages, in a work area, must be in a closed container. Want to bring food for a party, no problem, just let us know so we can have the kitchen prepared for you.  Kitchen use is only allowed when you have a reservation for the space or a party. Small lunch or snacks are allowed in work areas but anything more like cake or pizza is considered a party.  Please honor our need to raise money, through reservation of the space, to keep MAXtivity going

Alcohol is prohibited for walk-in projects or open studio. BYOB is reserved for adult parties or classes only. Thank you for understanding!

COUPONS/DISCOUNTS/SPECIALS/LOYALTY CARD:

When the time comes for us to offer discounts, please note that we will be unable to combine discounts, specials or coupons. This is subjected to per family per day.  Loyalty cards, discounts and coupons are not redeemable for cash or cash back and punches can not be earned for purchases made by credit, P.O. or gift certificates.

PRIVACY POLICY:

Our student and customer privacy is a priority to us. We do not share information with other companies or organizations and allow you to opt out of communications at any time. We do not hold credit card information unless you are a member with a recurring automatic payment. For students that are minors, all guardians are consulted before social media or marketing pictures are taken. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
